Sea Bream Tajine with Tarator
Difficulty: Intermediate
Preparation time: 30 mins
Cooking time: 20/30 mins
For 4 to 6 people
Ingredients:
- 500 g sea bream, cleaned and cut into pieces
 - 500 g chopped onion
 - 1 tbsp salt
 - 1 tbsp pepper
 - 1 tbsp cumin
 - 3 tbsps lemon juice
 - 1 tbsp frying oil
 - 1 bottle sesame sauce (tarator)
 
Preparation:
Preparation of the fish:
- Season the sea bream pieces with salt, pepper, cumin and lemon juice.
 - Heat the oil and fry the fish pieces until golden. Set aside.
 
Preparation of the vegetables:
- Fry the vegetables.
 - In a frying pan, fry the onions until golden.
 
Assemble and cook:
- In a tagine (or ovenproof dish), arrange a layer of onions, then add the fried fish.
 - Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-30 minutes.
 - Pour the sesame sauce over the top to cover.
 - Serve hot.
