Orange Blossom Madeleines

For 4 to 6 people

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 150g white flour 
  • 100g softened butter 
  • 150g brown sugar 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 2 tbsp milk 
  • 2 tbsp orange blossom water 
  • 1 tsp baking powder 

 

Preparation:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C. 
  2. Whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes pale. 
  3. Add the flour and baking powder. Then, mix the butter and milk. 
  4. Add the orange blossom water and mix well. 
  5. Butter your madeleine molds and pour the mixture ¾ full. 
  6. Bake for 6 mins, keeping an eye on the temperature.
